Cnemidophorus sp.
This one cooperated for several shots, but when I wanted to put on my telephoto lens so I could get closer, she ran off. She was probably about six inches long.
They often hold their tails curved around in the air, which is probably the reason for the name.
These lizards mostly reproduce by parthenogenesis, although apparently if one mounts another, fertility is increased.
