Description
Sisymbrium irio L.
This is a mustard plant. The leaves are edible, and rather sharp, so you would want to put a small quantity in a salad with other leaves. Some horses are sensitive to this plant.
I don't remember where I found this specimen, but it is all over my property (replacing some things I prefer.)

Yes, I have plenty of it and California mustard. It causes excessive salivation in horses who are sensitive to it. In some geldings, I have also seen it cause the sheath to swell. If it has been frost bitten, it can kill cattle due to what I think is an enzyme change.
