Thank you, and thanks for the fav's! I tried to time the pictures to catch an interesting pose. I was pretty successful. With the digital camera, it's a lot harder. I was thrilled to get to see so many different cultures all in one weekend. I'll be back!

There were a gazillion cultures there, I think. I only watched most of the dancers, but there were bands and orchestras, and someplace I am told there were artisans demonstrating. I never found them. And there were food booths with delicious food everywhere!

I was there at noon one day and one the next day and stayed until about six both days. This was in downtown Tucson, in El Presidio Park, if you know where that is. We have a really pretty old pink courthouse with a dome with blue and white mosaic patterns on it. El Presidio Park is right next to this building. I took a few pictures of the dome and clouds, but I don't think any of those were with my digital camera.

It's a beautiful place, Tucson is. But the politics stink! Always something, ain't it? But I don't mind living in southern Arizona the rest of my life, though I would like to visit some places for prolonged times (months) if I ever had the chance.
